Parent’s Day Out (PDO) and Preschool (PK2/3, PK3 & PK4)
Prepare your child for elementary school success and make learning fun all in a Christian environment. Class sizes are limited to 12 students and 2 teachers.
PDO ~ Parent’s Day Out for young 2 year olds meets on Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 am. Children do not need to be potty trained.
PK2/3 ~ Preschool for 2 year olds and young 3 year olds meets Mondays and Wednesdays and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Children entering this class must turn 3 during the school year, no later than June 1, 2014. Children do not need to be potty trained.
PK3 ~ Preschool for 3 year olds meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Children entering this class must be 3 years old by September 1, 2013 and must be potty trained.
PK4 ~ Preschool for 4 year olds meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Children entering this class must be 4 years old by September 1, 2013 and must be potty trained.

9:30-10:00 ~ Circle Time (Calendar, Weather, Sharing, Theme Activity)
10:00-10:40 ~ Small Group Instruction and Centers (Art, Science, Math, Complex Play)
10:40-11:10 ~ Snack and Bathroom Break
11:10-11:25 ~ Recess (Large Motor Skill Room or Outdoor Play Area)
11:25-11:55 ~ Circle Time (Bible Story, Letter, Stories, Music or Movement)
11:55-12:00 ~ Clean Up and Departure Time
Field Trips
Littlest Disciples Preschool takes field trips as a group during the school year with destinations to be determined.
Car Line Drop Off and Pick Up
The car line is optional. Parents can pull into the circle drive and a staff member will assist your child to and from the car. You can also park and walk your child into the building at any time during the school year.
Academic Goals
Math topics include number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, ordinal numbers (first through tenth), recognizing same and different, beginning sequencing, patterning, counting, sorting (size, color, shape, etc.) along with simple arithmetic.
Language Arts topics include pre-writing and pre-reading skills, reading moves from left to right, books read front to back, literacy skills, recognition of upper case letters, phonics, recognition of sounds, syllables and rhyming words, writing child’s name, repeating address and phone number.
Science topics include weather, the senses, the seasons, transportation and science concepts such as predicting, classifying and observing.
Music and Movement will help develop balance and coordination, reinforces the story of the day, teaches vocabulary, steady beat, rhythm, rhyming patterns and sharing of percussion instruments.
Large Motor Skills Room or Outdoor Play Area teaches organized games, skipping, understanding of left and right, ability to follow a set of 3 directions, catching and throwing balls.
Bible stories and songs each day along with prayers at snack time will help children develop a love and understanding of the Bible and the knowledge that God loves us.
Tuition
(Church Member and Sibling discounts are available for PK2/3, PK3 and PK4)
1 day a week Parent's Day Out (PDO) program $60.00 per month
2 days a week Preschool (PK 2/3) program $135.00 per month
3 days a week Preschool (PK3 and PK4) programs $190.00 per month
Tuition is paid in nine payments. The final (May 2014) PDO tuition payment is paid at the time of registration along with a $35.00 registration fee per family. The final (May 2014) PK tuition payment is to be paid at the time of registration along with a $60.00 registration fee for the first child or $90.00 for a family with more than one child, which includes field trip fees. The remaining eight tuition payments are due on the first of each month, September through April.
If a family leaves Littlest Disciples Preschool before the end of the school year, the May 2014 tuition (paid at the time of registration) can be applied to the last month the child is in attendance. No fees or tuition are refundable in the event a family cancels enrollment before the school year begins.
