Seminar Studies
Seminar, small groups for adults, meets as published for a pot luck dinner or hors d’oeuvres, dessert and study in the home of one of the participants. All gatherings for the three groups are preceded by a time of fellowship.
Promise Seminar … Purpose Driven Connection-Love ~ This group meets on one Friday of each month at 7:00 pm for hors d’oeuvres, dessert and study. In this video series, Rick Warren and Chuck Colson teach that learning to love God and others is to be our highest goal and our dominant life value. Sessions are led by members of the group.
Thursday Seminar ... The Thoughtful Christian ~ This group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm for a pot luck dinner and study, September through May. In this Web-based resource of studies, members are encouraged to share their thoughts and beliefs while wrestling with questions of the way they live out their faith in everyday life. Discussion is lead by group members.
Seminar West ... Huntley ~ This group usually meets on the second Sunday of the month at 6:00 pm for hors d’oeuvres, dessert and to study Pastor Aaron’s next Scripture and sermon. Sessions are led by the hosts.
