Camp Edwards Retreat

For over sixteen years, we have been taking parents and children from our church on a weekend winter retreat to Camp Edwards (owned by the Elgin YMCA) in East Troy, Wisconsin.
This year our retreat is January 20-22, 2012. We leave on Friday around 5:30 pm and return home on Sunday by 1:00 pm. The cost for the entire weekend is $120.00 per person which includes lodging and five meals. Our group has rented a private lodge which offers a fireplace, kitchen area, ping-pong table, torpedo ball and outstanding views that really create an old-fashioned ski resort atmosphere. This year-round lodge sleeps 32 people, has multiple meeting areas, snack kitchen, TV/VCR/DVD and a piano.
Activities may include, but are not limited to: ice skating, snow tubing, hiking, broomball, tube slides, board games, torpedo ball and other group activities depending on weather conditions.
We are looking for several chaperones (parents) to join us. If any of you are interested in chaperoning, please let me know.
